Abstract
The development of effective approaches to the treatment of patients with symptomatic tumor epilepsy was determined by the level of our fundamental knowledge of the basic mechanisms of epileptogenesis on cellular and molecular level. 92 patients with gliomas of the cerebral hemisphereswere examined. Immunoenzyme method ofsemiquantitative determination of the level of autoantibodies to NR2A subunit of NMDA and GluR1 subunit of AMPA receptors of glutamate was used. The reaction of NMDA and AMPA glutamate receptors depending on the availability of an epileptic syndrome in the clinical picture of the disease and the extent of radical surgery has been studied. Pre-emptive increase of the level of autoantibodies to GluR1 subunit of AMPA receptors of glutamate in patients with hemispheric gliomaswith epileptic syndrome was demonstrated. It was foundonly the total removal of the tumor reduced significantly the level of autoantibodies to ionotropic glutamate receptors.

Abstract
The results of a long-term (1986 - 2012 years) dynamic monitoring of mental health were analyzed in 897 people. 278 of them showed mental disorders in the period of observation. Significant difference between the indices of cognitive functions and personality specifics in the healthy and sick people in the period before illness debut was identified. A prediction model of mental disorders in the period before illness debut was created.

Abstract
Two groups of patients with mental disorders in sections F2 according to ICD-10 (91 patients) and F4 (94 patients) were examined. The mean age of the patients was 36±7,6 years. A significantly higher percentage of secondary cardiomyopathy was in the patients with endogenous mental pathology - 51.2 % and in those with neurotic disorders - 37.7 % (pâ,01). It depended neither on the type and dynamics of the mental illness, but was more determined by its severityand in the case of endogenous mental illness - byits duration.
VKORC1 gene -1639 G/A and 1173 C/Т polymorphisms in Nenets autonomous district indigenous population
33-36 864
Abstract
According to the data obtained the VKORC1 gene polymorphism prevalence in the native population of the Nenets autonomous region differed significantly from that in the Arkhangelsk population. The homozygous form of 1173T allele prevailed in the nenets. This may be protective against thrombosis but it increases the risk of artery calcification and of indirect overdosing of anticoagulants.

Abstract
Long-term results have been estimated for laparoscopic adrenalectomy and laparoscopic partial adrenalectomy in the treatment of adrenal tumors. If preoperative data and intra-operating evaluation show no sign of malignancy, it is possible to perform organ-sparing surgery.

Abstract
The article presents the description of a case of spongy encephalopathy diagnosed morphologically in a 54 year old female. The disease lasted for 1-2 years, and had a lethal issue. The patient had undergone both out-patient and in-patient treatment in 4 city hospitals. The final diagnosis was maid after autopsy only. Difficulties of clinical diagnosis of Kreitsfeld Jacob disease which is one of the forms of transmissible spongy encephalopathy are discussed.

Abstract
Articulate cartilage of the humeral bone head structure characteristics according to the temperature data and prolongation of their action under high temperature (50 - 90 °С) are demonstrated on the basis of anatomy and histology studies. In female morphological changes occurred much earlier than in male due to less thickness of their articulate cartilage. The obtained findings of high temperature damage effects on the cartilage can be explained by cell protein denaturation in temperature rising even more than +45 °C. More frequent occurence of musculoskeletal system diseaes in metallurgists is explained by the results obtained.

Abstract
During the magnetic storms magnesium content decreases and frequency of angina pectoris attacks increases minimally in the lowanxiety cholerics and maximally in the highanxiety melancholics and phlegmatics. The latter are the groups at risk of developing complications of coronary heart disease.

Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of sanation of oral cavity in young athletes on the course of adaptation of the cardiovascular system to the condition of sports activities. According to the research results, it was revealed that the optimal period for sanation of periapical odontogenic foci in athletes with clinical signs of impairment (dysfunction) of cardiovascular system adaptation to exercise stress was a preparatory training period, while carious lesion sanation required preparatory or postcompetition periods.

Abstract
Features of development of all-somatic and psychosomatic pathology in B.A.I. are based on a combination of genetic prerequisites, environment influences (the stress caused by accident on the ChNPP) and social factors, influencing on him during a course of life, especially during early socialization. Thus at development of psychosomatic frustration the combination of feature of the mental reaction connected with the personal characteristic and special relationship between mental (stress) and physiological (somatic) by aspects of reaction which led to metabolism violation, to aging, decrease in adaptation opportunities of an organism and development age - dependent pathology took place.

Abstract
Correlations of protective-adaptive behavior and the level of adaptation activity were determined in 48 men and 52 women with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and the necessity of this investigation from systemic positions of human adaptation was confirmed. Intercommunications of coping mechanisms and psychological protection ones with clinical characteristics of the disease were revealed. Distinct dominants in protective-adaptive behavior structure showing adaptation mechanisms tension in severe course of the disease and affective comorhidity with the tendency to the exhaustion of adaptive-compensatory resources were detected.

Abstract
The results of application of dabigatran etexilate in treatment of 56 patients aged 60 to 89 with closed diaphyseal fractures of femur and tibia undergone intramedullary osteosynthesis were studied. The patients were divided into 2 groups. The first group consisted of patients receiving standard anticoaqulant therapy. The second one included patients who used etyek-silat (pradaxa OS) in early postoperative period. The results of treatment in these groups were analysed and compared. Evidence-based significant advantage of dabigatran etexilate (pradaxaR) administration in early postoperative period was revealed.

Abstract
The article deals with the features of lipid metabolism in patients with type 2 diabetes - the carriers of different genotypes of paraoxonase 1 gene. Known that the enzyme paraoxonase 1 (PON1) plays a key role in the regulation of lipid peroxidation and its activity is genetically determined. The investigation revealed that the PON1 gene's polymorphic variants may determine the formation of atherogenic changes in lipid profile in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) type 2.

Abstract
On the 31 of July the University pays tribute to the memory of a famous scientist, surgeom and lecturer - Michail Andreevich Sresely. Since 1947 up to 1979 M.A. Sresely was in charge of the Operative Surgery Department and the vicerector of the 1st Leningrad Medical Institute (1950-1969 ys). His name is linked not only with the history of the Operative Surgery Department but with the history of the Institute as well. His scientific works deal with the problems of borerline forms of variability started by his scientific adviser-academician V.N. Sherkunenko. Besides, M.A. Sresely supervised doctoral dissertation (n=16) and master's theses (n = 32). For a long period of time he was a member of the Presidium of the Board of the All-union and Leningrad Anatomist's, thistologist's and Embryologist's Society. M.A. Sresely was awarded with the Order of the Patriotic war and the Order of the Red Banner. Professor M.A. Sresely is a symbol of a scientist, teacher and tutor.
