Psychosocial factors in assessment of prognosis and prevention of ischemic heart disease associated with arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus of type 2

Abstract

Correlation between the cardiovascular risk factors in predicting of the course of ischemic heart disease (IHD) associated with arterial hypertension (AH) and diabetes mellitus type 2 was studied in 85 patients admitted to the Borderline Condition Department for neurotic and affective disorders for development of a complex program of secondary prevention and rehabilitation. Logistical regression method was used for assessment of significance of the psychological factors and of other RF.
