PPAR-альфа и гамма-2 представляют собой ядерные рецепторы, регулирующие обмен липидов, глюкозы и иммунное воспаление в сосудистой стенке и играют существенную роль в патогенезе атеросклероза. Тиазолидиндионы, фибраты, омега-3-полиненасыщенные жирные кислоты (ПНЖК), статины и алеглитазар, влияя на PPAR альфа- и гамма-2, могут предупреждать развитие и прогрессирование атеросклероза и использоваться для первичной и вторичной профилактики атеросклероза.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Literature review is devoted to the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and pathogenetic mechanisms that determine the value of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) in atherogenesis. PPAR α and ϒ-2 are nuclear receptors that regulate lipid and glucose metabolism, and immune inflammation in the vascular wall and play a significant role in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis. Thiazolidindiones, fibrates, ω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, statins, and aleglitezar, affecting PPAR α and ϒ-2 can prevent development and progression of atherosclerosis and may be used for primary and secondary prophylaxis of atherosclerosis.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>рецепторы активатора пролиферации пероксисом</kwd><kwd>PPAR</kwd><kwd>тиазолидиндионы</kwd><kwd>фибраты</kwd><kwd>омега-3 ПНЖК</kwd><kwd>статины</kwd><kwd>алеглитазар</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Алекперов Э.
